Grodno State Medical University was established in 1958 and is one of the leading medical universities in the Republic of Belarus. Degrees of the University are recognized by the World Health Organization, Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates and by the Medical Councils of India, Lithuania, the USA, Sri-Lanka, the Republic of Maldives. Grodno State Medical University has also got into the TOP 500 list of the world’s best universities.
In 2010 Grodno State Medical University became the first medical institution of higher education in the Republic of Belarus, which implemented and certified the ISO 9001 Quality Management System corresponding to the National Quality Management System (СТБ ISO 9001-2009) and to the German Quality Management System (DIN EN 9001-2008).
International students have been studying at the university since 1995. And since 2003 university has been providing courses in English. At present 750 international students from 35 countries of the world study at the university.
The university works in collaboration with educational and research centres of Poland, Germany, Russia and other countries. Students have opportunities to do practical training abroad.
Courses offered:
MBBS: Duration of study – 6 years (full-time)
Entrance test: Currently the university does not hold any written entrance test, but the student is required to appear for a viva voce.

Tuition: USD 4,400 per annum Hostel: USD 800 per annum Insurance, medical exam and registration: USD 350 per annum Living expenses without/with private accommodation, food, transportation etc. USD 250-500 pm (USD 3000-6000 per annum)
Total: USD 8600 (in hostel); USD 11600 (in private accommodation) per annum
