Eligibility Criteria

The candidate desirous of taking admission in MBBS or its equivalent course in a Medical University/College/Institute outside India must fulfil the following conditions which have been laid down by Government of India:

  • - Must obtain a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology in CBSE Class XII or equivalent examination; and

  • - Must obtain minimum of marks at 50th percentile in “National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test” i.e. NEET. The earlier requirement of obtaining Eligibility Certificate from MCI has been dispensed with. Now the result of the NEET shall be deemed to be treated as the Eligibility Certificate for such candidates desirous of studying medicine abroad.

Note : It may be mentioned for the benefit of all that it might be possible to seek admission in a foreign medical university without obtaining minimum qualifying marks in NEET, but such candidates will not be eligible to appear in The Foreign Medical Graduate Screening Test (FMGE) in India on their return. It is mandatory to clear this exam if one wishes to get permanent registration with MCI or any State Medical Council in India. In short, such foreign medical degree holders will be debarred for life from carrying medical practice in India if they obtain such degree without NEET clearance.

  • Students fulfilling the above conditions may apply to Belarusian Medical Universities which normally require a student to:

  2. Pass the Centralized Admission Test; and
